ABOUT US
We deliver material process design, deployment, and product solutions - for special projects and challenging conditions & environments.

BLUE STAR Advanced Manufacturing LLC.
brings deep expertise in microwave and materials processing - from feasibility to production. We are currently working on a large project - commisioned by NASA - to develop deep-tech microwave-based processes & technology that will enable on-site production of landing pads, roads, and 3D structures on the Moon and Mars, during Artemis and Mars missions.

BLUE STAR AM provides elegant solutions to unique or complex manufacturing challenges for industries and applications that require advanced non-standard, superior, or even novel materials.

BLUE STAR AM delivers custom processing methods designed for energy efficiency and time-savings with many examples statistically proven to cut costs.
We help you achieve more with less!

OUR SOLUTION

We develop energy efficient solutions for material processing by using
microwave, radio-frequency, and hybrid heating techniques -
HEATING MATERIALS FROM WITHIN - VIA OSCILLATING DIELECTRIC MECHANISMS

1. Under specific conditions and via proprietary methods - material is exposed to electromagnetic energy .

2. Internal oscillations within molecules, particles, and surfaces - convert to heat, right where it's needed.

3. Products are heated throughout - quickly, evenly, and with increased control and energy efficency.
Tremendous savings of time & energy and cost reduction caused by maximizing invested energy to perform focused volumetric heating.
THE RESULT:

Instead of inneficiently HEATING FROM THE SURFACE only, we are efficiently CREATING HEAT INTERNALLY!
THE PROCESS
With precise control of microwave power, energy input rate, thermal environment and other process parameters - our model driven microwave-based technology infuses volumetric vibrational energy to get to the ‘’heat of the matter’’ - causing controlled physical and chemical changes in a wide variety of materials - with a clean, energy-efficient process.
THE ADVANTAGE:
Here's how it works:

CURRENT PROJECT
Lunar ISRU* Microwave-Assisted Paving Process
* In-Situ Resource Utilization
Blue Star AM's process will enable solidification of extraterrestrial regolith (in this case - Lunar), producing landing pads, roads, and
additional construction elements.
